Zdin Kalfë Vrët (/zdin/ /ˈkalfɛ/ [light blue] [crack]) is a subtropical Town located in Qamsubyæzǐ Zone, Olaöt Diocese, within the Covenent of Irus.

The name Zdin Kalfë Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Zdin Kalfë Vrët was founded by Vumzec Asoldru, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Zdin Kalfë Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 11°C (51°F). Zdin Kalfë Vrët receives an average of 142 cm/y (55 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Zdin Kalfë Vrët covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5396 m (17703 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Zdin Kalfë Vrët was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1146, by Vumzec Asoldru. The establishment of Zdin Kalfë Vrët was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Vumzec Asoldru electing to pay people to resettle in Zdin Kalfë Vrët.

Zdin Kalfë Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zdin Kalfë Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Zdin Kalfë Vrët is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of premissive baked earthen streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Zdin Kalfë Vrët has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Zdin Kalfë Vrët’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Civic Infrastructure

Zdin Kalfë Vrët has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Zdin Kalfë Vrët. Cultural Notes

Zdin Kalfë Vrët's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Zdin Kalfë Vrët all of the cats speak the local language with prefect diction.
